Working in an environment where the non-spreading of bacteria could be the thin red line between surviving and sepsis, the individuum loses its recognizability behind scrubs and mask and hood. Wearing those uniforms we are percepted differently: as human beings, but often not as individuals. As working in this environment is an integral part of our lives and thus has a strong impact beyond the walls of our work - who are those people behind the masks, who are we once our hoods are detached?
Detaching the hood: the medical staff of an Intensive Care Unit portrayed with and without mask.

Ongoing project.
